Alcohol,
A subtly sweet combination of citrus and natural tangy kombucha, finished with hints of tropical passionfruit and guava. Blend of American imperial stout and Belgian-inspired dark ale aged in bourbon barrels. Produced in the tradition of 18th Century English brewers who supplied the court of Russia’s Catherine the Great, Old Rasputin seems to develop a cult following wherever it goes. It’s a rich, intense brew with big complex flavors and a warming finish. The sour, salty base beer lays down the funky refreshment, while a heavy dose of passion fruit.
Does Manito Tap House have a kids menu?
To complement the beer, The Blackbird has a NorCal Ovenworks Santa Maria Grill and Cookshack wood pellet smoker. Close to 80 percent of The Blackbird’s menu items include something that is cooked with wood! Depending on the dish, you’ll be treated to the flavors of mesquite, cherry, Applewood or pecan, with “a rich smokiness the most pervasive flavor,” Patrick says.

A light-bodied lager designed with drinkability in mind. A highly carbonated, medium-bodied lager that is well-balanced. A fairly strong, highly roasted dark stout with pronounced bitterness. Head to Manito Tap House or The Blackbird Tavern + Kitchen for the best beer—and food—in town. “We get people from Portland, Seattle and farther away who can't believe the selection of bottled beers we carry,” Patrick says. We love beer and we want you to enjoy the best beer drinking experience we can possibly offer.
Aged for three months in Wild Turkey® Bourbon barrels, this luxurious stout has a deep ebony hue and a beautiful mahogany head. Big boozy bourbon and American oak aromas combine with soft chocolate malt undertones. Complex malt flavors framed in oak with hints of dark chocolate, vanilla, toasted coconut and a touch of dark cherry.

Alain Dumont et le restaurant Cargo
Like its sister restaurant, The Blackbird is a Certified Green Restaurant with a 4 Star rating. Everything on the menu is from scratch using local and regional ingredients as much as possible. The food is primarily based on Chef Molly Patrick’s Southern-Georgian roots, with traditional Southern food menu items and Southern-fusion creations. To complement the food, guests can choose from more than 150 rare and imported bottled beers, with the same standards for beer service as Manito. Rich flavors of baked apple and pear, layered with toasted oak, notes of caramel and brown spice with a smooth, lingering finish. The apple character marries with the added fruit to create a balanced flavor.
Honeylike sweetness with candied orange peel and white chocolate with a subtle, tender finish. Basil Hayden's is the lightest-bodied bourbon whiskey in the family of Jim Beam small batch bourbons produced by Beam Suntory. It is 80 proof, in contrast with its three sibling brands of higher alcohol concentration.
A moderate, refreshing ale with noticeable hop aroma balanced by supporting malt flavors. Similar in balance, body, finish and flavor intensity to a semisweet (or medium-dry) white wine, with a pleasant mixture of honey character, light sweetness, soft fruity esters, and clean alcohol. A very strong ale with hop character, rich malt flavors, and prevalent alcohol with a very long finish. With the success of Manito Tap House, Patrick and Denise decided to open a second restaurant, The Blackbird Tavern + Kitchen, which offers a more upscale feel, in summer of 2015.
OUR MENU
Maui Gold Pineapple gives sweet aroma to this smooth-bodied tropical brew. An intensely hoppy pale ale with minimal malt character, designed to showcase its strong hop flavors. A light pink wine with flavors of red fruit, flowers, citrus, and melon. Tropically fruity; its ripe banana flavor, emphasised by a hint of bitterness, comes from the addition of real fair trade bananas and finishes with emphatic, steel dryness. An ale that is light and crisp while medium-bodied with a smooth mouthfeel.
Aged for a full year in Heaven Hill barrels, developing flavors of rich, chewy roasted malts, charred oak and bourbony vanilla. A gold-colored, light-bodied beer with crisp, floral hop aroma. An easy-drinking pint that balances toffee and caramel sweetness with a roasted dry finish. Inspired by the iconic fruit cart vendors of Los Angeles.
The cider character must always be present, and must fit with added ingredients. If a spirit barrel was used, the character of the spirit (rum, whiskey, etc.) must be no more than just recognizable; it must not be a substantial element of the flavor. Manito Tap House menu has been digitised by Sirved.
Manito Tap House, located in the South Hill, just celebrated their sixth anniversary this fall. A very dark, full-bodied, roast ale with a complementary oatmeal flavor. The tropical tones of passion fruit, orange, and gooseberry aren’t far behind. A kombucha/ale hybrid combining brewing techniques from craft beer with traditional kombucha fermentation.
